Fatu Kaba amplifying stories of resilience, peace, and transformation.

Dalene Allen / Fatu Kaba Season 10 Episode 9

Fatu Kaba is an award-winning peace activist, TEDx Speaker, author, and founder of both FatuM and HEARTS Global Network. Through HEARTS Global, she focuses on empowering marginalized communities and amplifying underrepresented voices through education, entrepreneurial leadership, and storytelling. HEARTS Global’s initiatives include the “Heartfelt” podcast, which highlights the stories of marginalized communities, youth empowerment programs in the arts, capacity-building peace conferences, and support for conflict-affected areas. As a creative visionary, her personal brand, FatuM, spans multiple mediums—modeling, writing, public speaking, and healing—to inspire and uplift others. FatuM channels her creativity into writing fictional novels and blogs, using storytelling as a powerful tool for education and inspiration. Her work has been featured on platforms such as UNICEF Voices of Youth, Sleepless in Monrovia, and Manchester Peace Post. Fatu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Peace Studies and a Master’s in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her work, rooted in nonviolence, youth empowerment, and women’s leadership, has earned her numerous recognitions, including the Peacemaker Award, a feature on CTV, and the honor of speaking on the TEDx stage. Now, as a former TEDx speaker, she is bringing TEDx to Halifax under the name TEDx Argyle St in 2025. She is also the organizer of the Canadian International Peace Conference 2025.
