Teri Kingston is a public speaking and TEDx Speaker Coach, recognized among Canada's Top Ten Speaking Coaches in 2023. Through her business, Real Impact Speaking, she empowers speakers to enhance their presentation skills using TED-style storytelling techniques. Teri is also a Reiki Master/Teacher, a mother of two, and a proud grandmother.
In 2021, Teri applied to a TEDx event near her and delivered a talk titled "Can we live better by talking about dying," viewed over 55,000 times. Drawing from her experiences, she authored her first book, "Get Ready for TED When TED is ready for YOU." This comprehensive toolkit serves aspiring TEDx speakers, offering unique frameworks and templates to navigate the application process. Teri's book is a culmination of her award-winning experience and commitment to helping individuals share their ideas effectively on the TEDx stage.
